South African content creators Sbusie Phoswa, Bukeka Marobe, Vanessa Padi and Zithobe Macheli have partnered with Avon for the Anew campaign.
In this collaboration, the content creators share their secrets to confident skin to help South African women embrace their power by celebrating unique beauty.
We all know that sometimes when your skin is acting up through breakouts, that may bruise your confidence. This is why these content creators share some skincare tips on how to feel confident.
Padi on proactive skin ageing prevention
Padi says taking care of your skin from a young age helps reduce the rate of ageing, which is why she invests in power products like a serum and a face cream to ensure her skin gets all the collagen it needs to stay healthy.
“Even though I am still in my 20s, I want to be proactive about ensuring that I can increase the number of years I have healthy, youthful skin. I’m always looking for products produced specifically for my skin type, but don’t necessarily break the bank,” she said.
Phoswa on bright and radiant skin
Radiant skin is every girl’s dream because it allows you to wear a bare face without worrying about dark spots and so forth.
To achieve radiant skin, Phoswa says she’s big on eye cream because it helps her get rid of dark circles around the eyes, giving her a perfect glow all around her face.
“As a content creator, I’m always on the go - my days are full of early mornings and late nights. One of the products I love is the eye cream. It instantly blurs and brightens the total eye area, dramatically smoothing the look of lines and wrinkles.
“I like to apply it first on dry and cleansed skin, and within seconds, the dark bags under my eyes disappear. While I know that my confidence as a woman starts within, I like the reassurance of effective beauty products that help me walk out of my house with my head held high,” she said
If you cannot afford an eye cream, you can always rub cucumber around your eyes to get rid of those dark circles and eye bags.
