FlySafair is once again boosting educational opportunities across South Africa with the return of its School Booster initiative.
This year, the airline is offering 10 return flights to 10 deserving schools, giving learners the chance to embark on enriching educational journeys.
Whether for cultural exchanges, sporting events, academic competitions, or school tours, these flights aim to open doors to new experiences and opportunities for South African students.
The initiative, now in its second year, has already made a significant impact, and schools across the country are invited to share their stories for a chance to win.
FlySafair is calling on registered schools to enter and tell how these flights would benefit their students and school community.
The entry period closes on 27 March 2025, so schools are encouraged to act quickly.
Supporting 2024’s Winners
In 2024, three schools were selected to receive the free flights, and their stories are a testament to the hard work and dedication shown by both students and educators. The schools awarded flights last year include:
Benjamin Pine Primary School in KwaZulu-Natal
Potchefstroom Central School in North West
ESCA Wanderers in Gauteng
These schools were recognised for their commitment to enhancing their students' educational experiences, and FlySafair is proud to have supported them on their journeys.
A Chance for Your School to Soar
For schools hoping to be part of this year’s initiative, the process is simple.
To enter, schools need to submit a story detailing how the flights would positively impact their learners.
The deadline for entries is 27 March 2025.
