With December a few days away, most people will be travelling this holiday season.
As such, most airlines are busy with preparations to ensure guests travel in style.
Turkish Airlines has introduced its business class passengers to a new amenity kit collection designed in collaboration with Lanvin.
This five-piece collection redefines in-flight elegance, blending timeless design with eco-conscious touches.
“Limited-edition cosmetic products enriched with natural ingredients like Cocoa Seed Oil and Coconut Oil keep passengers feeling refreshed mid-flight,” read the statement from the airline.
“Eye masks and socks made from recycled materials, bamboo toothbrushes, and minimal plastic packaging align with a growing demand for environmentally-friendly travel solutions.
Crafted for versatility beyond the journey, each kit was inspired by Lanvin’s iconic styles of elegant and chic purses.
The limited edition cosmetic products include hand & body lotion, lip balm enriched with nourishing ingredients like cocoa seed oil, shea oil, olive shell oil and coconut oil— perfect for keeping skin hydrated throughout the shorter international flights lasting five to eight hours.
In other news, Air France-KLM recently introduced the Boeing 777 on the Johannesburg to Paris route.
“The Boeing 777 is a game changer for this route,” said Wilson Tauro, Country Manager for Southern Africa at Air France-KLM.
“Not only does it offer superior performance but it also has a significantly lower carbon footprint, which aligns with our sustainability goals.”
For Cape Town travellers, the Dreamliner is now operating between Cape Town and Paris, offering a seamless travel experience.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our services, and the Dreamliner is a perfect fit for our Cape Town passengers. It combines advanced technology with a more comfortable in-flight experience,” Tauro added.
