No matter what’s happening in our country, South Africans never lose their sense of humour. It’s this sense of humour that has people in stitches after a woman posted a funny video of herself having a bit of fun on board a Flysafair flight.
Seated on the flight, she pretended to be on a minibus taxi by passing a R50 rand note onto the passenger in front of her saying: “Two please.”
If you’ve ever been in a minibus taxi you will know how, that is how the payment system works.
The money is collected from the back of the taxi and sent on to the driver.
Playing along with the fun, the passenger in front of her takes the R50 and adds some make-believe cash to it and passes it along to the passenger in front of her saying: “Four please.”
The video ends there so unfortunately we don’t get to see just how far down the line the money gets passed on, maybe it reached the pilot.

The clip garnered almost 200,000 views and over 13,000 likes.
TikTok users jumped into the comment section to share how hilarious they found the short clip.
One person mentioned the stress of having to pass money in an actual taxi saying: “I always panic with the taxi maths, imagine airplane maths.”
Another made reference to the size of the aircraft saying: “no bc safair really is an air taxi.”
“Can never be bored in South Africa. Love my country,” said another amused viewer.
Another agreed saying: “SA humor really can’t be topped. There’s nobody like us.”
