Durban - Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort is a family-owned, 1 000 acre wilderness estate nestled in the beautiful Champagne Valley in the Drakensberg.

Helicopter flights operate from the airfield at Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort. For those seeking to experience the awesome beauty of the Drakensberg up close and personal, a 15- to 20-minute flight along the face of the Champagne/ Cathkin escarpment is unforgettable.

The crew at the Champagne Castle Adventure Centre have been busy creating world-class single track mountain bike trails on the hillsides above the resort.

The kiddies adventure park is suitable for the really young including zip-lining, paintball target shooting, tree climbing and tubing in summer.

Other on-site activities include a zip-line course, king swing, paintball war games, abseiling, white water tubing, canoeing and mountain bike trails. For the very fit and adventurous, there is kloofing (canyoning).

Champagne Castle Adventure Centre is a one-stop team building and conferencing venue. With all the activities and a fully equipped conference hall, look no further.

The world-famous Drakensberg Boys Choir School, founded by the Tungay family, has a rich history and is within walking distance. Concerts are held usually on Wednesdays during the school term and a visit is a must.

Falcon Ridge, just five minutes from the resort, holds raptor flying displays daily, save Fridays, weather permitting.

Glass Hive is 10 minutes away at Scrumpy Jack’s. View bees in a glass hive. Bowls and golf clubs are within 10 minutes’ drive.
