As season four premières on August 27, the captivating comedy-drama series centres around three strangers Mabel Mora (Gomez), Charles-Haden Savage (Martin) and Oliver Putnam (Short) as they bond over their obsession with true crime.
The trio suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one when a grisly death occurs inside their beloved Arconia building, an exclusive Upper West Side apartment in New York City.
As they suspect that this could be a case of murder, they employ their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth.
But soon, the endangered group comes to realise that a killer might be living among them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it's too late.
Season three left viewers on the edge of their seats as it ended with the solving one murder while introducing another.
Its latest offering will see Mabel, Charles and Oliver travelling to Los Angeles to oversee a Hollywood studio's adaptation of their story to the big screen.
