Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have revealed that influential centre-back Olisa Ndah has been ruled out of action for the rest of the year due to injury.
The Buccaneers confirmed on Monday that Ndah, suffered a tibia fracture against Polokwane City last month and is expected to face a lengthy recovery period.
The news comes as a big blow for the Sea Robbers who are gearing up to lock horns against newly promoted Betway Premiership outfit Magesi FC in the Carling Knock-out Cup on Saturday.

The Soweto giants recently made history as the first team to win the MTN8 title three times in a row and are looking to add the Carling Knockout Cup to their trophy cabinet.
“The Nigerian international who missed out on playing the MTN8 final after suffering an injury in the league match against Polokwane City, is expected to be out on the sidelines for a lengthy spell.
“The Bucs medical department has confirmed that the 26 year old has suffered a tibia fracture. Due to the location and nature of the injury; the decision on surgery is not straightforward but based on this type of injury, Ndah has been ruled out for the rest of the year,” Pirates said on their website.
