Showers have greeted the Proteas and Australia ahead of their much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy clash in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
This has caused the toss to be delayed due to a wet outfield until further notice.
Both the Proteas and Australia came into this match with confidence-boosting victories over Afghanistan and England respectively.

They were achieved in contrasting methods though with the Proteas’ bowlers comfortably defending 315/6, while the Aussies chased down a record 351 with five wickets to spare.
Australia are, of course, without their premier fast bowling trio Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitch Starc.
The Proteas, meanwhile, have not yet stated whether middle-order batter Heinrich Klaasen, who underwent a fitness test on Monday at training, will be available for this crunch match after missing the previous game against Afghanistan due to an elbow injury.
