Johannesburg - The Global Citizen Festival on Sunday featured an all-star line-up including Ed Sheeran, Usher, Pharrell Williams and Coldplay's Chris Martin, D'Banj, Cassper Nyovest and Black Coffee.
But most of the hype was around seeing superstar couple Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z perform in South Africa.
For those who were not one of the over 94 000 fans packed into FNB stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday, SABC and DSTV livestreamed the event, that is until about 25 minutes into the Queen B's set.
While it was previously announced that Beyonce's entire set would not be shown, many South Africans enjoying the show at home, got a rude awakening and took to Twitter to vent.
