Volkswagen has added an extra dash of spice to its incredibly popular Polo Vivo range with this special edition model called the Eclipse.
Available only in Pure White and Deep Pearlescent Black exterior colours, the Eclipse set apart by a few unique features inside and out, namely 16-inch Mistral alloy wheels, silver mirror housings, chrome strips that run along the lower doors and bootlid and, of course, Eclipse badging.
To distinguish the cabin, VW has thrown in what it calls 'Global' seat trim as well as a steel graphite-coloured centre console and partial-leather steering wheel.
VW also lowered the suspension but before you get too excited about the drive home, the only engine offered is the familiar but trusty 63kW/132Nm 1.4-litre normally aspirated petrol unit.
You can have it in hatch or sedan guise, prices at R168 600 for the five-door and R174 600 for the four-door.
