This, Maserati fans, is the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition concept car, due to debut at next week's Frankfurt motor show with a special new look in colour scheme, materials and finish. It will be presented as a limited-edition concept but the intention is to develop a production version for 2014, alongside the current Quattroporte range.
Ermenegildo Zegna's concept for the Quattroporte limited edition is the result of a close collaboration between two companies that are linked by history and tradition.
CARS AND COUTURE
The body is finished with a special platinum metal colour-effect paint that simulates the fluidity and purity of metal by using ultra-fine aluminium pigments over a gloss black primer that amplifies the brilliance of the aluminium pigments and creates a sensation of depth.
Inside, classic warn colours such as beige and brown echo Zegna's latest men's fashion collections, conveying a formal, sophisticated character. Seats, door panels and roof lining are finished in a mix of genuine soft leather and smooth, velvet-like fabric specially developed by Zegna to meet the demands of automotive applications.
