After rallying behind Miss Kwara with votes for the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, South African netizens are now donating money for their favourite plus-size queen to come and witness the beauty of Mzansi.
X users have started a Back-a-Buddy fund which is an online campaign to raise funds for the Miss Universe Nigeria hopeful, Ufa Dania’s vacation in Mzansi.
Organised by Reginald Mathule Kanyane (Reggie_za), the estimated goal for the crowd funding is R100,000 and the donations were sitting on R4,382 as of Tuesday 5pm.
The bio of the crowdfunding campaign reads: “We were thrilled to support Ufa Dania during her journey in the Miss Nigeria Universe Beauty Pageant, where her charm and vibrant personality won our hearts.
“As the X community in South Africa, we are eager to welcome her to our country and give her an unforgettable experience as we show her the beauty of South Africa.”
Dania has also shown some appreciation to her South African supporters, thanking them for their continuous unwavering love and encouragement through her journey during the pageant and even after.
This has of course sparked different reactions with some saying South Africans have money to waste and others think the idea is not so smart since she can take the money and not even come to the country.
Other users have warned that the organiser may even take the money for his own benefit.

It’s out of respect of your wishes and votes!
Donate as much as you can to have her come to South Africa Legally ….
She will come as promised once we reach the goal … @Anele I need your help with some of this …. https://t.co/wLzJEqZ9KC
South Africans can be dauntingly stupid at times no wonder Nigerians do as they please. We condone and enable a lot of unnecessary nonsense.
